Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

Have you ever been involved and tried to break it off?

How many attempts did it take before your juncture was accepted?

I’m currently at an impasse with Winter Season. After all these years in and out of each other’s lives, you’d think Winter would be familiar with the concept that “seasons change”. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I have personified the winter season here in the northeastern region. As if all the snow and wind weren’t already enough….Winter lingers.

Growing up, I was never really a big fan of the winter months (except for my birthday month, January). Cold temperatures just don’t match my personality, you see. Yet here we are again trying to go MY separate way.

Maybe Winter has abandonment or attachment grievances that were never fully addressed making it harder to loosen it’s grips on the country. It seems that Winter and Covid-19 have a ton in common. One minute I think we are headed toward severance and the next, they throw something else back at us all. Maybe it’s time to place a bit of physical distance in this equation as absence is supposed to make the heart grow fonder (*shoulder shrugs*).

I mean, am I in this alone here or can anyone agree?

There’s only so much Nintendo Switch and Verizon Fios I can handle with my family. Hopefully now we’ve all been through the last of it. I’m making room for a clean break! Looking back, I can’t say it’s been all bad. I may have never thought of starting my blog to share with YOU! Writing and sharing with readers has truly been the best part of Winter Season.

How have you been holding up? Are you someone who enjoys cold weather or would you rather vacation on the sun? I’d love to hear from you in the comment section!

If you enjoyed this post, please like it so I may continue providing intriguing and thoughtful topics.
