Just don’t give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong.

Motivation has been the driving force of life since the beginning. It’s what allowed ancient humans to invent fire and the wheel. It moves people toward common goals and innovations. Motivation pushed the likes of many influential individuals, such as Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Steve Jobs, to shape and mold humanity into the reality seen today.
When I think about what motivated me to start a path in photography and blogging, I realized it was pure inspiration. The freedom of capturing the moment from my point of view and the ability to record time in a way that allowed me to bring a subject to life was simply fascinating. Compared to many other talented individuals who seem much more in tune with their artistic abilities at an early age, I too discovered my love for artistic expression but I never fully embraced the idea of art as a sustainable path. In fact, it didn’t occur to me until after I failed accounting for the third time at my university that life is short so why not give it a try.
That seemingly small decision may have transformed the trajectory of a numerically focused and potentially unhappy path to the path of true self-discovery through artistic ardor. Life is so unpredictable that it forced me to think about the things that inspire and motivate me so I wouldn’t waste my precious life. With that idea in mind, it wasn’t until now that I decided to give it my all to develop and perfect my craft.
Now think about your path and trajectory in life. What decisions have you made that may have changed your path from one to another? Did your choice involve consulting with a higher power or was it practically constructed? Have you had multiple changes in trajectory or are you currently in transition?
